Though there is a scientific reason behind the rage of fire (Soviet scientists originally burnt down a gas field 40 years back), this place spells terror and is now the abode of thousands of spiders.

2. Whale Bone Valley, Siberia

When you travel around eighty-two miles on the beautiful Alaskan coast, you will enter into a small valley in Siberia. The sights that you see here is quite disturbing – hundreds of bones (belonging to the vertebrae, spine and skull of many whales) are scattered all over the place. The origin of these bones dates back to as early as 15th century.

3. The Island of Dolls, Mexico

The Doll Island in Mexico City is a place where you can see hundreds of dolls hanging from a tree. Julian Santana Barrera was haunted by the spirit of a small girl who drowned in the river of the city and to satisfy her, he hung up the abandoned dolls that came floating in the river. He followed this practice for 50 years before he died of a cardiac arrest near the same river.

5. Red Beach, China

During the fall season, visitors coming to Panjin in China are in for a shock because the beach turns blood red during this time. The reason for the redness is due to the growth of seaweed known as suede. However, tourists do get a creepy feeling when they blood-like red hue entirely on the beach.
